Didnt know this song. As with your contribution to the CP, it was incredibly upbeat sounding.....

Have you heard 'Nineteeneighties' the Grant Lee Phillips cover LP??? Lots of good stuff on it...

I didn't make it. As usual, this computer is not being splendid. At least the problems have moved more from hardware to software, but it means I'm still working on getting everything together. One day I shall join the ranks of those people who just get on with their computer-oriented lives. Until then, I shall make an effort to keep listening and make my contributions where I can. I say this, just in case you missed me this - or any other - week.

Oh. In case you were wondering, I did pick a poem to read - though the song that might have accompanied it probably would not have gone at all well. It would have been La Mort des Amants, by Charles Baudelaire: http://fleursdumal.org/poem/197

JC- I don't yet have nineteeneighties or his newest, which is really bad because I consider myself a very big fan. I guess I guess I know what to spend my Paul Weller money on :).

Eiron- Of course we miss you. I tried to send you an email a few weeks ago to say as much but it may have got stuck in the spam. I liked that poem, Baudelaire is on my list to read. But that list is so long!

i've been meaning to tell you for some time now how much i love this song. thank you for sharing it. : )

I'm glad you liked it! I'll shoot you an email :).
