I remember the December sky

I got some very nice mail yesterday.  My hero The Vinyl Villain sent me shirt from the Roddy Frame gig he attended back in October, along with his ticket stub from the night!   It isn't the first time he has done something so kind for me, and I know I am far from the only person on the interwebs to benefit from his big heart and thoughtful nature.  He's one in a million.

Hi...lovely track it is. Travels were superb. East Kilbride came to Chateau Marmont for a day or two as my folks were in LA to hook up with us. Not sure Katy and Russell could figure out the Scottish accents drifting across the courtyard! NY was sublime. Loved being back after 12 years and I got to shake Woody's hand after watching him play at the Carlyle. Amazing.

After he took me and my entire family on an extended tour of Glasgow in 2010 he sent me home with a goody bag full of cds and his favorite books related to music.
